Easy archiving solution with no need for a PC
With the optionally available SHARE STATION, you can easily archive Everio's HD footage without having to use a computer. Just connect the Everio and SHARE STATION directly, and with a few simple steps you're done creating an HD data disc. Playback is also possible directly from the SHARE STATION (CU-VD40 only).

The SHARE STATION stores Everio's HD footage as data files. Since you can use commonly available DVD-R/RW discs, you can keep shooting and keep archiving without a second thought. And you can easily customize the content of the disc you burn because it's possible to store just the scenes you shot today, or just new scenes that haven't been stored yet, or the scenes as you've specified in a Playlist, as well as other options you can choose from.
Store 40 minutes of quality memories on a single disc
Since the SHARE STATION supports DVD-R DL (dual layer) discs, you can store up to 40 minutes worth of Full HD footage on a single disc (8.5GB). Enjoy watching Full HD recordings at full length!
